Events Week 9 – 15th June
Dear Members,
Please read the attached document which details the bowling events
involving our Club during the week beginning Monday 15 June.
Firstly, huge congratulations to our Ladies’ Triples (Mo Crighton, Pat
Clark and Joan Mitchell) who won the Bowls Scotland District 15 Final
at Carrickknowe last Saturday afternoon. A wonderful achievement. The
girls will now represent District 15 in the National Championships at
Ayr in August. Well done, ladies.
On Monday afternoon, George Richardson will take on an opponent from
Currie B.C. in the District Final of the Bowls Scotland Gents’ Over 55
Singles at London Road Foundry at 2.00pm. All the best, George.
Please try to get along to London Road to support George in this
match, if you can.
The Ladies’ Page Two-Bowl Pairs competition will be held on the green
at 1.00pm on Friday 19 June. Enjoy, ladies.
The annual Gents’ Friendly against Carrickknowe B.C. will take place
on Saturday 20 June at home at 2.00pm. We are sure everyone involved
will have a wonderful afternoon.

those pairs wanting to compete.
