Finally, a wee ‘heads-up’ on some upcoming competitions :
- The Seniors have their annual Bob Horsham Trophy game at 2.00pm on Friday 9 June. There is a list on the Seniors’ Notice-board for those wishing to be involved. The entry lists for the Jack Pettigrew Pairs and the John White Triples are also now on the board.
- We will be sending a team (Les Brown, Billy Samuel and Bernie Callaghan) to the annual EBA Charity Triples competition to be held at Willowbrae B.C. on Saturday 10 June starting at 9.30am. All the best, guys.
- The annual Ladies’ Captain’s Charity Pairs is scheduled for Saturday 24 June on the green. There is a list on the Ladies’ Noticeboard for those ladies who wish to participate. Each pair will consist of a Corstorphine B.C. lady and an invited guest from outwith the Club. This is always a great day and helps raise money for this year’s chosen charity (Alzheimer’s Scotland).
- The annual Gents’ Friendly with Carrickknowe B.C. will be held at 2.00pm on Saturday 24 June at Carrickknowe. We are looking for 6 rinks for this match. Please add your name to the list on the Gents’ Notice-board if you are available to play. This is always a very good afternoon.
