Please read the attached document which details the bowling events involving our Club during the week beginning Monday 8 July.

Our Ladies will take on London Road Foundry B.C. in the EWBA top Ten, away on Monday 8 July at 2.00pm. Good luck, girls.

The Ladies have their annual Friendly match at home to Kilmarnock B.C. on Tuesday 9 July at 2.00pm. We are sure that everyone involved will have a great afternoon.

Our Gents take on Postal B.C. away in the first round of the Top Ten competition on Tuesday 9 July at 6.30pm. All the best, guys.

The Gents’ EBA Knockouts begin on Thursday 11 July with our Pairs (Jim Connor and Keith Rutherford) in action against Willowbrae B.C. at Merchiston while the Triples (Iain Norton, Andy Lees and Dougie Wilson) will take on Hillside B.C. at Trinity. Both of these matches start at 6.45pm. Stick in, boys.

Our Gents take on Carrickknowe B.C. in the quarter-finals of the EBA Edinburgh Cup at home on Friday 12 July at 6.45pm. All the best, guys.

The annual Gents’ Friendly against Carrickknowe B.C. is scheduled at home for Saturday 13 July at 2.00pm. We are sure that everyone involved will have a wonderful afternoon.

Our Ladies are involved in the semi-final of the EBA Edinburgh Cup with a match against Liberton B.C. at a neutral venue to be confirmed on Sunday 14 March at 2.00pm. Stick in, ladies.

Finally, a wee ‘heads-up’ about upcoming events :

1. Please note that the draws for the Senior Gents’ Pairs and Triples are now on the Senior Gents’ Noticeboard. Try to arrange your ties as soon as possible to fit with the Closing Dates for the first round.
2. The annual Centenary Trophy will be held on the green at 2.00pm on Saturday 20 July. Please add your name to the list on the ‘Mixed’ Noticeboard if you wish to participate.
3. On Sunday 21 July, we are having the annual Strawberry Fayre on the green and in the Clubhouse at 2.00pm. This is an opportunity to bring friends and family along to the Club for a wee game of bowls with some strawberries and ice cream. Please add your name to the list in the main hall if you want to be involved.
4. We have our annual ‘mixed’ Friendly against Centurion B.C. on Thursday 1 August on the green at 6.30pm. We are looking for 3 mixed rinks for this game. Please add your name to the list on the ‘Mixed’ Noticeboard if you are available to play in this game.
5. We will be hosting the annual Invitation Pairs competition on the green on Sunday 4 August. Please add your name (and that of your ‘external’ partner) to the list on the ‘Mixed’ Noticeboard if you wish to participate in this very enjoyable day.
   6. Our Senior Gents’ will hold the annual Hyland Rigg competition on Friday 9 August at 2.00pm. There is still time to add your name to the list on the Senior Gents’ Noticeboard if you can play in this event.
6. The annual Ladies’ Clark Fours competition is scheduled to be held on Sunday 11 August at 1.30pm. There is a list on the Ladies’ Noticeboard if you wish to participate.
