Firstly, we congratulate the following players who won the internal Finals played recently :

Ellen Hay and Jean Meiklejohn who won the Ladies’ Page Two-Bowl Pairs
This week, the Final of the Ladies’ President’s competition between Chris Bentley and Gladys Christie is scheduled for Monday 3 September at 11.00am. The Final of the Ladies’ Nominated Pairs involving Margaret Sackville and Theresa Blair against Bobby Sinclair and Joan McBain will take place at 2.00pm also on Monday 3 September. All the best to everyone competing.
Please note that the Ladies’ Friendly against Blackhall B.C. has been rescheduled from Tuesday 4 September to Tuesday 11 September at 2.00pm. As a consequence, there will be no Hat Day on either Tuesday 4 September or Tuesday 11 September.
Our RMBA team was successful in their Knockout match against Willowbrae B.C. last Thursday and now take on Brunstane B.C. away in the semi-final on Thursday 6 September at 1.30pm. All the best, boys.
Our Seniors have their annual Friendly at home to Carrickknowe on Friday 7 September at 2.00pm. This is always a very enjoyable afternoon.
There will be another Mixed Hat Night on Saturday 8 September at 6.30pm. Please bring your family and friends along to a very enjoyable evening.
This year’s ‘Rugbowl’ match involving players from Corstorphine Bowling Club and Corstorphine Rugby Club will be held at 12.30pm on Sunday 9 September. We are sure that everyone involved will have a great day. Please note that the dress code for the day will be ‘smart-casual’ (no jeans!!).
Finally, a reminder of the President’s Select vs Past Presidents/Captains match which will take place at 2.00pm on Saturday 15 September. Please add your name to the list on the ‘Mixed’ Notice-board if you can participate in this game.
