Please read the attached document which details the bowling events involving our Club during the week beginning Monday 9 September.

Congratulations to Jim Connor, Bernie Callaghan and John Burns who won the Sanderson Invitation Triples on the green last Sunday afternoon.

Also, we pass on our congratulations to the following players who won the internal Finals played last week :

Ricky Stevens, Jimmy Sutherland and Bill Cumming against Jim Connor, Tom Mitchell and Scott Mitchell in the Davis Triples at 5.00pm on Thursday 12 September
Theresa Blair against Chris Bentley in the Ladies’ Isobel Callaghan Rosebowl on Friday 13 September at 11.00am
Bill Cumming against George Richardson in the Seniors’ Championship at 4.00pm on Friday 13 September
Mark Hewitt and Clint Cassidy against Jim Connor and Bernie Callaghan in the Gents’ Blyth Pairs at 5.00pm on Friday 13 September
Alan Mather Snr against John Donoghue in the Gents’ Vice-President’s at 6.00pm on Friday 13 September
Gladys Christie and Chris Bentley against Vicky Page and Theresa Blair in the Ladies’ Nominated Pairs at 2.00pm on Sunday 15 September

Please try to get along to the Club to support all of these players in these matches if you can.

Clint Cassidy is also involved in the North & West Seniors’ Knockout Singles Final against Dean B.C. at Trinity on Tuesday 10 September at 2.00pm. All the best, Clint.

The President’s Select will take on a team of Past Presidents/Captains at 2.00pm on Saturday 14 September. There is still time to add your name to the list of participants on the ‘Mixed’ Notice-board if you are available to play.

Finally, a wee ‘heads-up’ on a couple of upcoming events on the green :

1. The annual Ladies vs Seniors match will take place at 2.00pm on Wednesday 18 September. There are separate list on the Ladies’ and Seniors’ Notice-board if you can participate in this always enjoyable game.
2. The Seniors’ Friendly against Carrickknowe B.C. is scheduled for 2.00pm on Friday 20 September at Carrickknowe. We are looking for 6 rinks for this match so please add your name to the list on the Seniors’ Notice-board if you can play.
